Diary Entry August 14 2025

Dear Diary,

I came into the studio today determined to have a calm, responsible, totally professional workday.

It started strong:

✅ Coffee in hand

✅ Apron on straight

✅ No glitter within arm’s reach

Then… it happened.

🧼 Midway through making Broom With a View, I decided the swirl pattern looked “too safe” and added extra mica. Now it looks like a cosmic witch party. I’m not mad.

📦 I was packing an order when I realized the customer’s last name rhymes with “banana.” That was the end of productivity for 15 minutes. No, seriously. 

🎨 Tried to update the product display. Ended up building a “soap fort” with tiny doors. Joyce says it’s a tripping hazard. I call it art.

☕ Accidentally poured my coffee into the lye pitcher. Don’t worry — I caught myself before disaster. Still counting it as cardio.

🐒 Wrote “Do Not Lick” on a soap curing rack… then immediately licked one just to check. It’s fine.

So yeah… I almost had a normal day. Almost.
